Josh Richardson

President

Josh Richardson became the President of Kroger Prescription Plans (KPP) in January of 2025 and is responsible for all facets of Kroger’s Pharmacy Benefit Management organization. Josh brings energy and leadership to KPP having spent nearly 25 years across several organizations including Walgreens, Anthem, Cigna, Express Scripts, among others. Josh is passionate about improving health outcomes and patient experiences in the pharmacy benefit. Josh earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.


Jay Ziegelgruber

Chief Financial Officer

Jay Ziegelgruber joined Kroger Prescription Plans as CFO in 2024, after a 12-year career dedicated to The Kroger Co.'s healthcare assets. In his current role, he is focused on delivering positive financial outcomes for clients by implementing enhanced cost efficiencies and transparency to meet their unique needs. Jay brings a deep, hands-on understanding of the healthcare industry, having held a diverse range of roles across the organization. His background includes serving as Retail Pharmacy Controller, Strategic Finance Manager and FP&A Manager, along with special assignments in M&A and organizational transformation. This breadth of experience across finance and operations makes him a valuable strategic partner. He holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from Indiana University.


Jodi Fair

Head of Sales

Jodi Fair has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry with emphasis on PBM, Administration Management and Taft Hartley. She is the strategic sales leader responsible for developing and executing Kroger Prescription Plan’s sales strategy. She enjoys supporting and managing the sales team, fostering a positive sales culture. Collaborating with other departments within KPP builds and maintains relationships with our key clients and broker/consultants which drives customer satisfaction and growth. Her 5 years as New Business Manager in the West strengthened her relationships in the market, and her 17 years at a Third-Party Administrator gives her strong management skills in assuring the products and benefits she recommends are operationally sound. Jodi received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Washington University.


Justin Binik-Thomas

Justin Binik-Thomas

DrBA, Head of Contracts, Proposals & Regulatory

Justin provides coaching and oversight for contracts, proposals and regulatory functions within Kroger Prescription Plans. He is accountable for workflow, process and continuous improvement functions by increasing efficiencies, reducing risks and achieving consistent success through strong leadership and effective collaboration. Justin serves as subject matter expert, legal liaison and task force chair for assigned lines of business. As a leader in Kroger Health, he previously guided efforts within the pharmacy, nutrition, and clinic verticals. Justin is an alum of the University of Cincinnati and Indiana Wesleyan University, and holds a Doctor of Business and has published peer reviewed research in the areas of risk mitigation, financial stability and clinical retention.


David Christino

Head of Rebate Distillery

David Christino joined Kroger Prescription Plans in 2018, bringing more than 18 years of experience developing innovative products and services across healthcare, financial technology, and sustainability technology. At KPP, David leads Product and Rebate Services, where he has spent the past eight years advancing pharmacy benefit management capabilities and delivering value driven product strategies for clients. During his tenure, David conceptualized and launched the industry’s first market leading transparent rebate solution. His background in solution development, product leadership, and cross functional innovation gives him a strong understanding of how technology and data drive modern healthcare services. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from Florida State University.


Anastasia Frey

Head of Project Management

Anastasia Frey joined Kroger Prescription Plans (KPP) in 2024, following a 15-year career focused on advancing The Kroger Co.'s healthcare initiatives. In her current role, she leads strategy execution, drives operational efficiency, and develops innovative product offerings to better serve KPP’s clients. Anastasia brings deep expertise in the healthcare industry, having held a wide range of leadership roles across the organization. Her experience includes serving as Strategic Program Leader for Kroger Health Business Development, Director of 340B, and Director of PBM Contracting. She has also led special projects in new product development, technology implementation, and enterprise strategy. This broad, cross-functional background makes her a key strategic asset to the KPP leadership team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Louisville. Anastasia lives in Newport, Kentucky, with her husband, Tommy, and their four children—Sutton, Halston, Millie, and Landry. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching and playing sports, discovering new restaurants, and attending live music events.
