Rich Adams, Senior Vice President for Kroger Prescription Plans, joined the company in 2017. He brings more than 20 years of employee benefit management experience to KPP and has overall responsibility for Kroger Prescription Plans. Rich’s passion is transforming the health experience for patients through best in class service, transformative innovation, clinical excellence, and superior member engagement programs. Previously Rich served as head of Sales, Account Management, and Product Development for OmedaRx. He also held leadership positions with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as the Cigna Payer Solutions and Taft Hartley segments. Rich graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and earned business and health policy degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Rich, his wife Jen, and their twin girls live in Portland, Oregon. They enjoy outdoor activities across the Pacific Northwest, playing tennis, participating in youth theater and volunteering at Northwest Children’s Outreach.
As Vice President, PBM Sales, Kevin Krakowski is responsible for the growth, market presence and maturation of Kroger Prescription Plans. With more than 20 years of PBM experience, Kevin has served in sales and leadership roles for Walgreens Health Initiatives, AdvancePCS, Truveris, and Prime Therapeutics, where he was Vice President of the Employer Market segment. Kevin’s astute grasp of predictive market trends, along with his industry expertise and consultative sales approach, ensure KPP clients are well positioned for success in today’s dynamic healthcare marketplace. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois. He resides in Green Oaks, Illinois, with wife Nikki and their three children. An avid sports fan, Kevin enjoys coaching basketball and cheering on his kids at soccer and lacrosse matches.
With more than 23 years of Pharmacy Benefit Management experience, Kari Onederra brings a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise to Kroger Prescription Plans. As a past consultant, Kari has provided leadership to many Pharmacy Benefit Management organizations across the country. She applies this operational expertise and proficiency, as well as her ability to leverage clinical program savings, to create unique opportunities and cost containment solutions for KPP clients. Over her extensive career, she has also provided clients with world-class service overseeing desktop auditing, on-site auditing, MAC and a variety of other PBM services. A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Kari attended the University of Wyoming. A resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, she is a world traveler and avid outdoors person, spending her free time with family enjoying camping, boating, and scuba diving excursions.
Kevin Favro began his career with Kroger in 1991 as a Courtesy Clerk. During the past 27 years, he has risen within the organization and has held a variety of leadership roles including Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Program Manager, and Clinical Director. Kevin holds certificates in Medication Therapy Management, APhA Diabetes Education, Adult Immunization, Leadership Development I & 2 and Pharmacogenomics. His comprehensive pharmacy expertise and keen understanding of the integration opportunities within the Kroger Health and Wellness ecosystem provide industry-defining clinical leadership and innovative cost containment strategies for KPP clients. A registered Pharmacist, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Xavier University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin. He is also active in the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, The American Pharmacists Association, and the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute. An educator at heart, he is also involved in educational programs at the University of Cincinnati, Doctor of Pharmacy program. Kevin, his wife Kerry, and their four children reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoys running, soccer, tennis and home improvement projects.
